Installation
Our Glasgow based electricians can alter or add to your existing electrics by adding more lighting, creating more power outlets, upgrading your circuit boards and more. We offer transparent costs which are focused on value to our clients. You can see our full list of installation services below with indicative costs. When our electricians complete any electrical work in your home, we issue you with an installation certificate to confirm the installation meets BS7671 requirements. Its worth noting we can only add or alter your existing electrics if they are in good condition.
Fault Finding
On occasions where your electrics are faulty they require experienced electricians to carry out fault finding. Our NICEIC electricians can carry out a diagnosis and find the faults which may be causing your electrics to operate incorrectly. Experienced electricians use equipment to trace faults quickly and get the power back to your home. Once the engineer has carried out the inspection they will provide a report detailing any faults and recommendations for remedial works. We offer a fixed hourly rate for all fault finding, detailed below.
Electrical HealthCheck
If you have concerns over your electrics we offer a free visual check which is done remotely. If you would prefer an electrician to come to your home and carry out more thorough check we can provide this at a fixed cost. Our electrician will open up your fusebox, and some of the switches and sockets throughout your home. We will carry out some basic tests and then put together a small report which will detail the condition and age of your wiring, the likelihood of when it may need rewired and any recommended upgrades that can be done to improve the system.

We do not charge a call out fee but charge one hour minimum to attend then bill for each 15 min interval.

Workmanship Guarantee
We guarantee most of our jobs against faulty workmanship for 1 year and all installation works come with NICEIC approval.
Depending in the condition of your current installation we may be unable to offer any guarantee on any works if we feel the system is in poor condition and will clearly state this in your quote.

Material Guarantees
Materials and parts supplied by HomeRewire will be covered by a manufacturers guarantee or warranty, this usually lasts for one year.
